Who this is for: Students with a strong grasp on safety and an understanding of the fundamentals of marksmanship. We’re looking for individuals with an interest in learning how to effectively engage targets at extended ranges.
This two-day, 16-hour course covers the following;
Rifle set up
Philosophy of use (POU).
Basic understanding of external ballistics.
Max effectiveness of each individuals rifle
Range estimation skills.
BDC / MRAD / MOA scopes.
Positive Identification (PID) of targets.
Positional shooting.
Ballistic calculator. (Kestrel or applied ballistics app)
Takeaways include but are not limited to:
Improved confidence with the individual’s equipment and capabilities.
Better understanding of structured training for self-improvement.
Setting realistic goals and expectations for individual performance.
