These courses are conducted at our facility in bremerton, WA. Ammo & UTM / Airsoft equipment are included in the course cost.

 
 
 

UTM Structure Assessment

What’s Covered:

  • Understanding the basic principles of room clearing

  • Assessing structures to understand the best plan of action to achieve the most desirable outcome

  • Decision making based on size and layout of structure

  • Clearing in small elements such as two man teams

  • Positive Threat Identification

  • Lowlight / White Light Structure Assessment

 

Takeaway’s include but are not limited to:

  • An understanding of:

    • Different types of rooms

    • Breaking down Hallways

    • How to efficiently and safely work in close proximity to teammates in a dynamic environment

 

Course equipment such as airsoft weapons, UTM bolts & ammo are all provided.

 

Night Vision structure assessment

What’s covered:

  • Administrative tasks under NV (i.e. loading, malfunctions)

  • Night vision set up and maintenance

  • IR laser zeroing

  • Applications of single tube NV vs duals

  • Employment of pistols

  • Combatting excessive artificial light

  • Laser communication

  • Room clearing under NV

 

Takeaway’s include but are not limited to:

  • Laser location on rifle

  • Constant parallel zero/dot-to-dot zero

  • Which eye? Dominant vs non-dominant

  • Nonverbal communication under Night Vision

  • Increased confidence when working with a restricted field of view

  • 1 & 2 person structure assessment

  • CCW Pistol mechanics & manipulations

  • Link up procedures

  • Casualty assessment and treatment

  • Call up procedures for 911

  • Center fed, corner fed rooms & hallways

  • Positive Threat Identification

 

Takeaway’s include but are not limited to:

  • Mechanism of injury assessment and interventions

  • Med kit components, set up and use

  • Physiology to stress

  • Hand off reporting procedures for EMS

  • Opportunity to test EDC gear in a dynamic training environment

  • Increased confidence in both CCW & Medical capabilities

  • Participants will receive a Department of Homeland Security Stop the Bleed Certificate
